Letter: Calling war critics cowards reminiscent of fascism

According to Cali Garcia's letter in the Jan. 9 issue of the Daily Lobo, "We fight on - pissed off, but fighting on."

The irony is that, presumably, Garcia is fighting for democracy, yet he claims to fight for "our idea of what it should be like, not yours." So peace is not a part of your agenda? Furthermore, in Garcia's twisted worldview, critics of the war are "weak-kneed, insecure, mealy-mouthed, pussyfooting sissies."

The world's most prolific fascists couldn't say it better, Garcia. Shamefully, Garcia claims to be a UNM alumnus, which attests to the ultimate failure of a university system that graduates someone with the demeanor and intellect of a third-grade bully.
