Show some consideration to vertically challenged fans

I hope to see The Pit packed on Tuesday when the Lobo men's basketball team plays New Mexico State. But I have a plea to fans from the short people.

I'm a huge fan of basketball, but at just more than 5 feet tall, I have a problem seeing the game when all of you tall people stand on the bench in front of me.

I understand why we stand - it gets us amped, helps us stay in the game and creates a wall of red for the other team to see. I would just request that if you are more than 5 feet 5 inches that you would stand on the floor, instead of on the benches, so that us vertically challenged fans might get the chance to enjoy an Aaron Johnson dunk or a Daniel Faris rebound, too.
