Additional tuition increase would be unfair to students

Feb. 16 is UNM's day to lobby the New Mexico Legislature. This year, we are asking them to not increase the tuition credit, which increases tuition. Tuition was increased by 11 percent last year, so an additional increase would be outrageous.

ASUNM and the Progressive Action Coalition are encouraging all UNM students to get involved. ASUNM will be providing a free bus ride. Anyone who would like to go to Santa Fe on Feb. 16 can contact me at
