Editor,
Recently, a man who lives in Baker, Mont., a rural area where coyotes pose a problem to people, organized a weekend coyote-calling contest - another way to say a killing contest. He has said he doesn't know why God put coyotes on this earth.
Another man, who also lives in a rural area, where both coyotes and people pose their own problems, saw it differently. He said it was his observation that wherever people are, they always seem to pose a problem. Revealing the flaws in the first man's thinking, he went on to say he doesn't know why God put people on this earth.
