Reporter misrepresented core of language society

I was a participant in the recent World Language Expo, and I was also present at the table representing the Philological Society at UNM. First of all, I feel that your reporter was misrepresenting herself by not announcing that she was with the Daily Lobo before she started asking questions. Secondly, I feel she misrepresented our society. We are a serious and academic group that provides academic and moral support to students studying rare languages. While this might include Elvish or Klingon, Katie Newell was actually describing a fun crossword activity at the table, and not the focus of our group. So far, our group mainly focuses on Latin, Greek and Hebrew.

I feel your reporter would have done better to pay more attention to what they were actually told at the expo.
