Editor,
Let's get rational about what we support.
When I am asked, "Do you support our troops in Iraq?" I reply, "That is a two-part question - yes, I support our troops, but no, I do not support our troops being in Iraq."
My support for our troops is unwavering, and I am certain that the best way I can support them is to do all I can to get them out of Iraq as soon as possible. There is no valid reason for them ever being there. There is no valid reason for them continuing to remain there, suffering more casualties on a daily basis and causing the Iraqi people to suffer more each day. Those are the realities of the continued presence of our troops in Iraq.
There is a question I feel compelled to ask all the citizens of the U.S.: Are you going to continue to support the irrational reasoning of our president, or begin to truly support our troops in Iraq?
