Student Aaron X. Lenard should read the Declaration of Independence. It states, "Whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government ... it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security."
There are a lot more than 250 mass graves in Iraq. If Lenard didn't know, Saddam Hussein was our ally way back when. The U.S. has been bombing Iraq for more than 16 years, killing hundreds of thousands. Lenard believes that Hussein had weapons of mass destruction and moved them to Syria, and that President Bush was right. Is the U.S. still hunting for 9/11 conspirator Osama bin Laden? Why not?
On Page 95 of the Iraq Study Group Report, it states, "There is significant underreporting of the violence in Iraq. For example, in July 2006 there were 93 attacks or significant acts of violence reported. Yet a careful review of the reports for that single day brought to light 1,100 acts of violence. Good policy is difficult to make when information is systematically collected in a way that minimizes its discrepancy with policy goals."
The military commanders in Iraq failed, but I'm down with throwing the editors of the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal out on the streets. They enable government propaganda about 9/11, Iraq and Iran to be spread.
There is something terribly wrong with 25 percent of this country. In fact, the other 75 percent seems just as apathetic and cowardly.

In the last 10 days, more than 30 young Americans have died violently in Iraq. You don't see any candlelight vigils for these American youth.
