With a new semester comes new ideas.
This year, the Daily Lobo will be more accessible to you. We've revamped our Web site, so now it's easier to navigate. Soon we plan to add blogs, video and podcasts, which will provide further insight into the news of the day.
This newspaper's purpose is to educate you, the reader. At the end of each month, the Daily Lobo will dedicate one day's issue to a single topic. Whether we're discussing the Iraq war, global warming, tuition or abortion, we will feature articles and columns that get to the bottom of the issue and allow you to decide for yourself.
While most newspapers dedicate their opinion page to partisan squabbling, we understand there are more than two ways to look at any single issue. That's why this year we're expanding our stable of columnists to include voices from the many groups on this diverse campus.
As always, we want your feedback. Readers are welcome to praise, criticize and contribute ideas by e-mailing us at Suggestions@dailylobo.com.
