Editor,
There are still nice people in the world, and they've been caught on our campus. I know it's hard to believe it these days with the power struggle over flags - which, face it, if you didn't read the rules concerning raising a foreign flag on campus or anywhere in the U.S., then you should apologize and raise your flag proudly and correctly. But if you tear a flag, then you're equally as guilty. So, let's just call it a draw and apologize to each other and anyone else who's been offended and live
and learn.
But with all the news about hate crimes, graffiti, instigated racial violence and people just not caring enough about our environment to take a few minutes to recycle, there are still decent, respectable, virtuous, noble people on campus.
On the morning of Oct. 4, I lost my
wallet with every key I own attached to it on a bench in front of Mitchell Hall. I went crazy trying to retrace my steps when I realized I no longer had my wallet after my first class. Amidst re-keying my house, canceling my bankcard and buying a clutch club for my car, my keys and wallet were returned Saturday to my neighbor's house.

Whoever you mysterious group of students who returned my things are, thank you so very much. You have saved me at least $60 for new driver's license and LoboID cards, not to mention my irreplaceable key-chain collection.
Thank you for doing the right thing. What goes around comes around, and I hope you reap all the benefits you can from your good deed. Thank you, good Samaritans, for showing me there still are decent people in the world and on our
campus.
