UNM forward Chris Wright was named Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Player of the Week after his performance last weekend.
Wright scored three goals in games against Denver and Air Force - the Lobos' first two
conference games of the season.
He provided all of UNM's offense in a 1-1 draw with Denver on Friday and then scored two goals in Sunday's 6-0 drubbing of Air Force.

Wright leads the MPSF in scoring so far with 15 points, coming from seven goals and an assist.
The Lobos have had three MPSF Players of the Week this season. Forward Diego Barrera and Goalkeeper Mike Graczyk were the others.
