Politicians should resign if they voted for Iraq War

Editor,

The decline of Western civilization is apparent driving in Albuquerque or going to Wal-Mart. Have Americans always been so stupid about everything?

The reason the U.S. needs to get the hell out of Iraq is because the reasons we were given for getting into Iraq, simply stated, were a pack of lies.

The U.S. military, the government and the news media must be brought to swift justice for war crimes. There were no intelligence failures before the terrorist attack in the U.S. on Sept. 11, 2001, or in the lead up to the terrorist attack in Iraq on March 20, 2003.

The Project for The New American Century, whose members include neo-conservatives such as Dick Cheney, George Bush and Bill Kristol, called for a "New Pearl Harbor" to unite the U.S. homeland behind the third World War, before Sept. 11.

Most of the bad intelligence about Iraq came from neo-conservatives such as the Iranian spy Ahmed Chalabi, the Pentagon and Zionist spies from the American-Israeli Public Affairs Committee.

Republicans who appease the tyranny and genocide in Iraq will soon whip out quotes from Sens. John Kerry and Hillary Clinton about how they believed Iraq possessed weapons of mass destruction.

I believe anyone who voted for the resolution supporting U.S. military force in Iraq, whether Republican or Democrat, should resign. We have been at war with terror for seven years, yet according to the Commission of the National Guard and Reserves, the U.S. military is unprepared for a catastrophic attack on the U.S., and the National Guard lacks the proper equipment and training.

According to the Director of the CIA Michael Hayden, the U.S. faces an imminent threat from al-Qaida in Pakistan.

I've been calling Rep. Heather Wilson every week for the last seven years asking about the hunt for Osama Bin Laden. In seven years, I have never received even the slightest response or letter.

I pre-emptively protested the territorial pissing in Iraq, because I knew our former ally Saddam Hussein was enemies with al-Qaida and was a zero threat to the U.S.

For that, I was spit on and called a traitor, beaten and gassed.

The protesters have now become clowns full of sound and fury signifying nothing. The military has failed to protect and defend the U.S. Constitution from the tyranny of the Patriot Acts and the Military Commission Acts. The government knows it rules over a nation of slaves and cowards.

If we still lived in the land of the free and the home of the brave, the entire government would be tarred and feathered.
