UNM forward Hannah Hand continues to make her way up the all-time assist list.
Hand, who came into Sunday's game with 14 assists, dished out 15 and 16 as UNM glided past the Knights of Fairleigh Dickinson 5-0 at the UNM Soccer Complex.
She now trails alumna Laurie Hegedorn by only seven assists, with Hegedorn at 23.
The Lobos gutted out a 1-1 tie against Wisconsin-Milwaukee on Friday, but Sunday the Lobos started quickly.
Two early goals - one by UNM's Alexis Ball in the third minute and another off Jennifer Williams' foot in the seventh minute - put a damper on the Knights' spirits.
But head coach Kit Vela was sure to warn her players not to become complacent.

"I don't care who you play," she said. "With a two-goal lead, you can feel comfortable; you can feel confident with that, but all they have to do is find one goal and change the momentum and you're in trouble."
UNM never took its foot off Dickinson's throat, continuing to apply offensive pressure en route to three more goals in the second half, the first coming off a lob pass from midfielder Rachel Fields.
Fields hit a darting Hand, who managed to break away from the pack. Hand put it past the goalkeeper into the far posting, making it 3-0 UNM.
With the win comfortably in hand, Vela made 11 substitutions.
"It was nice to get people playing time that normally don't get playing time," Hand said. "But mainly it's about not getting overconfident and continuing to work on simple stuff."
UNM followed up Hand's goal with two more scores, both of which came off fouls by Fairleigh Dickinson in the box.
Midfielder Zaneta Wyne capitalized on her penalty kick, putting the Lobos up 4-0 in the 62nd minute. Then, Nicole Reed put the exclamation point on UNM's victory, banging home another penalty kick in the 78th minute.
With the win, UNM improved to 3-1-3. Dickinson dropped to 3-4-0.
UNM will face San Diego on Friday followed by a match against UCLA - something that has Vela pumped.
"Women's soccer has never played a top-five team in the country ever in 14 years," she said. "And No. 1, I don't think we've ever played No. 1. So, I look forward to it. But we can't look past San Diego."
