Students can voice their opinions about advising at UNM during today's Student Academic Advising Town Hall.
The event, hosted by ASUNM and GPSA, will be held in the SUB Atrium from noon to 1:30 p.m.
Students who can't make it can share their experiences on comment cards, which will be available at the GPSA and ASUNM offices in the SUB, GPSA President Chris Ramirez said. The comment cards will be collected all day.
Ramirez said the results from the meeting will be reported to administrators for consideration.
"Our goal is just to get as many comments from students about their advisement experience here at the University to share with the administration," Ramirez said.

Ramirez said he set up the event in an effort to address students' complaints about UNM's advising system.
The Legislature has debated allocating $1.5 million in special-project funding to undergraduate advising, but Ramirez said graduate advisement needs just as much attention.
"Obviously, that's really difficult because of funding at the state level not being available, but it was still the No. 1 priority for UNM," he said.
Ramirez said GPSA will also send out an e-mail survey before spring break and that he expects to tally the results before the end of the semester.
