UNM football team hosting women’s clinic

Women can take a look at the inner workings of the New Mexico football program on July 18 when the team hosts the 20th annual Lobo Football Women’s Clinic at the Tow Diehm Complex, UNM announced Monday.

Those who attend the clinic will meet second-year head coach Bob Davie, his staff and other members of the football program. Participants will also receive dinner and beverages with the team, run through on-field drills and learn about the game with classroom instruction.

“Our coaches and players have as much fun as our participants, and we appreciate the opportunity to show them what Lobo football is all about,” Davie said in a release.

The camp runs from 6 to 9 p.m. following a 5:30 p.m. check-in period at the Tow Diehm Complex, located at the south end of University Stadium. The cost is $30 per person. All proceeds will go to the Send-A-Kid program, which helps underprivileged children attend Lobo football games.
