Press-time results for New Mexico elections

Editor’s note: All numbers are correct as of press time and may have altered in the interim.

Republican incumbent Dianna Duran won the New Mexico Secretary of State’s office by four points over Democrat Maggie Toulouse Oliver.

In the race for the open seat for New Mexico Treasurer, Democrat Tim Eichenberg won over GOP candidate Rick Lopez, also by four points.

Democrat Tim Keller won the New Mexico Auditor open seat eight points ahead of GOP candidate Robert Aragon.

The race for U.S. Senate was won with Democratic incumbent Tom Udall 10 points ahead of Republican Party candidate Allen Weh.

GOP incumbent Steve Pearce defeated Democrat Roxanne Lara by 28 points for the office of U.S. House District 2.

Democratic incumbent Ben Ray Lujan won the office of U.S. House District 3 20 points ahead of GOP candidate Jefferson Byrd.

The open seat race for NM Attorney General was won with Democrat Hector Balderas 16 points ahead of GOP candidate Susan Riedel.

Democrat Manuel Gonzales won the open-seat race for Bernalillo County Sheriff four points ahead of Republican candidate James Scott Baird.

The Bernalillo County poll question about tax increases in order to fund mental health was favored by 69 percent of voters.
