New Mexico quarterbacks Lamar Jordan and Austin Apodaca almost played an equal amount of snaps at Arizona State on Friday. However, neither of them were able to get UNM’s offense into a rhythm in a 34-10 loss.
The Lobos (1-2) gained just 295 total yards of offense, 184 of those yards came on the ground.
Jordan and Apodaca combined to complete just 12 of 29 passes for 111 yards and an interception.
ASU’s high-octane offense started out slow but gained 449 total yards of offense. Sun Devil quarterback Mike Bercovici went 22 of 37 for 317 yards and three touchdowns. He also ran for 15 yards and a score.
