WWE Summer Tour returns to the Land of Enchantment

World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) will be soon making its return to New Mexico this year for their Summer Tour. The number-one wrestling promotion will once again test their limits to deliver suplexes, clotheslines, and body slams under the bright lights, along with big- name wrestlers and characters filled with charisma.

The company announced 10 dates for its summer full of events, with their first two stops being in Las Cruces at the Pan American Center on Saturday, July 11 and in Albuquerque at the Pit on Sunday, July 12.

Among the wrestlers being advertised for the events are a talented list of champions; Undisputed WWE Champion, “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes, United States Champion Trick Williams and Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley. Wrestlers that are also being advertised for the event include Seth Rollins, “The Ruler” Oba Femi, Jade Cargill and “The Scottish Warrior” Drew McIntyre.

Local wrestling fans will have access to their favorite wrestlers and superstars as a part of the WWE live events providing a different experience from Monday Night Raw or Friday Night Smackdown on TV

Multiple-time WWE Women’s Champion Bayley discussed with the Toronto Sun earlier this year the positives and impact of wrestlers performing at live events compared to those for TV.

"I miss them," Bayley said. ”The reason, I feel, helps with longevity and us being

able to keep up and stay relevant is because we had that experience. It's very different than TV. TV is stressful. You have to hit these times. You have to hit these camera angles. Sometimes we don't always have a match on TV. It could be a promo. It could be a backstage. But if you get your reps in on the live events, it makes a world of difference.”

Fans in the Albuquerque area can purchase tickets on golobos.com, where multiple ticket sections and ringside seats are still available. Ticket prices range from $67 to north of $250 for the event at The Pit.

Superfans can also access three different VIP packages, with extra features and souvenirs like meet-and-greet events and autographed photos.

For the Las Cruces event, prices range from $68 to nearly $800 based on seating information from Ticketmaster. Row and ringside seats are also still available, as well as some VIP packages as of the time of publication.
