The Santa Fe Railyards in the Barelas neighborhood just south of downtown Albuquerque were started in 1880 by the Atchison Topeka
& Santa Fe Railroad. Leba Freed and other volunteers at the Wheels Museum collect donations to preserve Albuquerque’s history of
transportation.
