Editor,
I applaud and appreciate your decision to print David Horowitz's controversial advertisement regarding race reparations. Regardless of whether one agrees with him, one has to admit that his argument is well-stated and historically substantiated. Herein lies the difference between a good and a bad argument.
Such is not the case with religious rants. They have no basis in fact and, as a recent letter to the editor pointed out, there is no arguing with them for the vacuous bigotry they issue entertains no debate.
The Daily Lobo's editorial policy has proven that talk is cheap but free speech isn't - David Horowitz put his money where his mouth is and paid for it.
