Chris Karney, a 24-year-old street performance artist and confusionist, tries to untangle himself from 100 feet of chain, seven padlocks and a straight jacket Tuesday in front of a large croud by the Duck Pond. Karney, originally from Iowa, now lives in San Francisco and has been traveling and performing on the streets and in comedy clubs for 10 years. Karney is scheduled to perform at Laff’s Comedy Cafe Wednesday at 8 p.m.
