Athletes of the Week

Griffin amassed 15 kills, 65 set assists and 17 digs in two matches during the weekend. In a five game match loss versus the University of Wyoming on Saturday, Griffin scored her first career triple-double with 11 kills, 45 set assists and 15 digs.

The men's tennis team dominated the Balloon Fiesta Classic at home, winning both the singles and doubles championships.

The Lobos posted a 30-14 singles record, including an all-Lobo final. UNM finished 14-5 in doubles competition and had two teams in the championship match.

Freshman David Kowalski won the singles title, while Lobos Michael Polasek and Diego Garza won the doubles championship.
