LETTER: God excluded in constitution really?

I agree with Mr. Bauers' statement concerning the pledge of allegiance. While it seems very trivial, the phrase "under god" is in direct contradiction to the Constitution. You can't pick and choose which parts of the constitution you want to enforce. If it is the right of the people to peaceably assemble, freedom of the press, or the right to bear arms shall not be infringed, the wording is very clear concerning the separation of church and state.
