Editor,
It's sad to hear that an "overzealous" health inspector had the power to shut down the only decent food source on the UNM campus.
Due to the closure of the SUB, there are limited places to find a decent meal on campus. As a hungry student, I often depended on the food that "Boss Man" had to offer. Without the presence of Lee Vigil's cart dispensing wholesome food and good will, I become discouraged and hungry when passing from class to class.
How can food inspectors shut down "Boss Man" and not the Hot Dog Man and Co.? As a student and consumer of "Boss Man's" food, I have never seen anything that caused me to lose my appetite.
The loss of Lee Vigil is a loss to UNM. Students are now limited to coffee, very greasy pizza, mass-produced sandwiches and other assortments of junk food.
