Editor,
I'm sure that almost every student who picked up the Lobo last Thursday morning had the same feeling when they saw the headline "Tuition increase."
The first thing I thought was, again? Second, I thought, how much? Didn't we just raise tuition $300-400 last year?
However, despite the unfortunate raise in tuition, I would rather pay an extra $72 a semester than see some of these professors transfer to another University that would pay them what they deserve.
Some of these professors are working on almost nothing. They know they could be financially recognized elsewhere, but they choose to stay here.
As it is, we still pay hardly anything to attend university classes. I was wondering how the professors survived in the first place considering the incredibly low tuition rates compared with other universities in surrounding states - which are more than double in tuition.

I don't like to pay more cash out of pocket, but I kind of expected it sooner or later.
