I cannot begin to fathom, nor do I want to, the motivation that drives people to wear pajamas out in the big wide world.
The idea of comfort has always been a motivation for some people's fashion - or more appropriately, the lack of it. It is important to be comfortable, but wearing pajamas to school takes this misguided theory to an ugly extreme.
If someone were to wear pajamas in my motherland, he or she would certainly and rightfully be mocked. They would probably cry for a while, but they would never make such a grievous error again.
Good fashion requires tough love, so I implore you, dear readers, mock those who believe comfort to be more important than image.

As your fashion guru, I am here to tell you image is far more vital to a good life than comfort. I can only hope and pray that the sight of people wearing their animal-print pajamas, along with young people who sport moustaches, will be confined to fashion hell, never to offend our beautiful eyes again.
This is just one of a multitude of possible examples of how our countries differ fashion-wise. I would never claim my fellow countrymen's fashion to be perfect. A quick look at Prince William or Hugh Grant illuminates British flaws all too well.
Despite this, the U.K., especially London, has always been a hotbed of fashion innovation and excellence. Thus, in your quest for better style, I would recommend you look toward London for inspiration.
At English universities, it would be rare to see someone wearing clothing covered with the school logo or emblem. Having pride in your institution is fine, but it is certainly bad and lazy fashion. Often the people who wear pajama bottoms also wear the generic, usually gray, UNM hooded tops.
This sight is upsetting because these people often have so much potential to look good, but they squander it believing in the false mantra of comfort first.
Another peeve I wish to combat is the belief that backward hats are acceptable fashion. The unfortunate masses who choose to wear backward baseball hats - usually with the Red Sox logo - do not seem to understand that Boston is a long way from Albuquerque. And turning your hat around is a long way from being cool. A backward cap becomes a fashion faux pas once you hit puberty.
I would like to grant you a sweet little nugget of fashion advice. In the interest of making society more pleasant, I ask you to befriend and tutor someone less fortunate in style than yourself.
You should do this for the good of the community and because it will make you feel good, which is always nice.
Get to teaching. It is essential we start today so the world will be a better place for our children.
