Editor,
I was sorely disappointed that the Daily Lobo didn't cover Monday night's amazing African dance performance in Tuesday's Culture section.
UNM has so many talented people, such as Laryea Addy, the UNM dance instructor, and the more than 50 young dancers, drummers and singers whom he has taught magnificently for the past couple of semesters.
Addy, from Ghana, has helped the students to perform various dances and learn a bit about culture, geography and politics. The production was multifaceted - Addy and his wife Amy even prepared a Ghanan meal for all of the dancers and attendees.
Instead, we got more of Paris Hilton. It seems some of the best entertainment must be found by word-of-mouth. Hopefully, the Lobo will one day find its entertainment news right here at home.

UNM instructor
