Words can hardly express my gratitude to the people at the University of New Mexico for extending such gracious hospitality to the students displaced by Hurricane Katrina.
My daughter is a student from Tulane University and is now a student at the University of New Mexico. The faculty and staff are to be commended for all of their efforts to help these students - they have gone above and beyond anything I could have ever hoped for.
The University's quick response was a huge relief, and the welcoming atmosphere my daughter has experienced is overwhelming. In just a few short days, so many people have touched her life, and she will remember them all forever. You all have a lot to be proud of.
Our family will always have a special place in our hearts for New Mexico and its wonderful university.
