Letter: Teach intelligent design, but show evidence first

Editor,

The issue of intelligent design has been in the news lately, most recently in Rio Rancho, where the ACLU is ready to step in and support any teacher who does not want to teach intelligent design in their classrooms.

Personally, I have no problem with the concept of intelligent design - in fact, I'm all for it.

My only complaint is that I have yet to see any evidence of intelligent design anywhere on this planet. Can someone please direct me to wherever I can find it?

As far as I can tell, ignorance is still a huge growth industry around the world, and especially in this country. People appear to be getting dumber by the day.

Actually, we could really use some intelligent design down here.
