Warm Greetings from the City of Smiles: Bacolod City, Negros Island, Philippines! Yours truly, Jose "Joey" Solinap, 1980 Anderson School BBA alumni here, alive and kicking- trying to make a difference by helping out in any which way I can in family, business, community and society as a whole.
Just want to say Hi, and to express my desire to visit the Land of Enchantment as soon as able, see my college buddies residing in Albuquerque, my retired family friends in Los Alamos...
If any of you folks out there in the UNM community interested in anything (w/in reason) about Negros Island and the Phil. in general, pls. feel free to touch base and identify both common & not-so-common interests that we can pursue...
Folks, its been 26 years since I officially left UNM- time surely flies, life is definitely short. Let us continue to stick to the essentials and minimize toying around with the non-essentials and make a difference in the lives of others esp. those in need, in dire straights, even those who have screwed up. In this process, we also add real meaning to our lives not like the accumulation of tangible assets or going all out just for the American dream- keep it simple, stick to the basics and remember always: "we can't really do good, w/out the Guy up there".
