UNM Police went to UNM Hospital after kitchen staff realized a large amount of food was missing. The kitchen supervisor told the officer that seven cases of brisket and 4 1/2 cases of chicken breasts were missing from the walk-in freezer. Since the room's entrances are controlled by ID card readers, an officer alerted UNM Information Technology Services to check the usage of the card readers. A man called UNM Police to report that his daughter was missing. He told police he believed she was at the Telos House with a male student and had sent his oldest daughter to pick her up. An officer went to the Telos House and saw a woman exiting the southeast door. The officer made contact with the girl and discovered she was the missing girl. The girl told the officer she lived in Santa Fe but came to Albuquerque to attend a rave. She said she didn't have a ride home from the rave and that is why she stayed at the Telos House. She told police that she was not held against her will. She also told police that she had consensual sex with the male student. The girl was released to her sister who took her back home to Santa Fe.
