GM: I wouldn't necessarily say I'm worried, because I have a lot of confidence in my academic capabilities. I'm more excited than I am actually worried to come up into college.
DL: What's one thing that you went over in Lobo Orientation that you did not know before?
GM: We went over an activity for CAPS that had us plan out our weekly schedules, and I realized that my days might be a lot busier than they were in high school. The entire activity just kind of opened my eyes.
DL: What's one area that you think you are going to have a hard time with in your freshman year?
GM: I would definitely say waking up and getting to class on time. I'm thinking that will be a big reason to why I would live on campus.
DL: Do you know what you are going to major in?
GM: I really haven't decided what I'm going to major in. I am just trying to get prerequisites done to see what I am interested in. To be perfectly honest, I haven't even been leaning a certain way on what I want to major in, but I am sure that it will come.
DL: Do you think you're going to get more involved on campus?
GM: Absolutely. I really want to get the full college experience, and orientation taught me that getting involved is the way to do it.
DL: Did you see anything specifically that you were interested in?
GM: I was actually thinking about pledging a fraternity. I haven't made up my mind yet, but it seems like the Greeks at UNM are really involved in everything and that they would be a great resource to getting involved.
DL: What's your favorite area of campus?
GM: I really like right outside the Student Union Building. I like how open it is and the amount of people that you see go through it. It's fun and there is usually a lot going on.
