UNM food-service change started well, ended bad

Editor,

Under the mentality Andres Saenz displayed in his letter last week, people would receive a bad service just because another could be worse. But, luckily, people do complain, and then change happens.

Yes, students complained about the Aramark contract with the SUB, and UNM listened. But, it seems like UNM did not pay attention to the whole complaint. Students not only wanted Aramark out, but they wanted changes in food variety that should have widened instead of reduced the number of options.

So, here we have another example of the administration siding with business and not with students. It had a good start but a bad outcome. Despite this, we must keep protesting, and if we do not see this new company adjusting to our demands, get rid of it. Remember, it is our university.
