Many have heard the story of Noah's Ark and the Great Flood. Some may think it is a fairy tale, while others believe it is a true event. One thing we know for sure is the book of Genesis gives us the size, shape, characteristics and landing place of the ark. So it must not be a true story, because it hasn't been found, right?
Wrong. It has been found since the late 1950s, and the American media have kept it on the down low. This makes sense because America explains the world using science, so the last thing scientists want is for an artifact of the Bible to be revealed.
In Genesis, we are told the ark was 300 cubits long and had a pointed bow with a rounded stern. The ark was constructed of timbers and iron. Genesis also states that after the flooding had stopped, the ark landed in the mountains of Ararat located in eastern Turkey, along the Iranian border.
About 50 years ago, an object was found in the mountains of Ararat. It had the shape of a boat and was too symmetrical to be a geological creation. Scientists delayed further testing, thinking it was just a strange object until the 1980s. Testing was continued and the discoveries were unbelievable.
The object had edges that stuck out of the ground while the inside was filled with dirt and rocks from centuries of nature's mudslides and volcanoes. Scientists tested the objects sticking out of the earth and confirmed they were made of petrified timbers. The length of this object measured to be exactly 300 cubits, just as Genesis claims. Near this site were findings of boulders with perfectly drilled holes in them, as if to put a rope through, that were very similar to the anchors the ark used. These anchors also had crosses carved on them.

Archaeologists were able to drill inside the object and pull out some artifacts. They found petrified animal horns and dung. This is an amazing discovery considering the ark carried two of each kind of animal. Scientists also agreed this object was in fact man-made, and it was so symmetrical and perfect that it was indeed Noah's Ark. You'd be surprised to find the site is actually a national park in Turkey and is a major tourist attraction. If you don't believe me, I recommend visiting ArkDiscovery.com and watch the 30-minute documentary clip on it. This will show you it is indeed not a lie, and it will show you the actual artifacts found to relate to the Bible. Also, check out Google Earth. Type in Noah's Ark in Turkey, and you will see the shape in the mountainside.
Now that we have an undeniable proof reference to the Bible, it raises many questions: Creationism or evolution? Heaven or hell? God's word or scientists' theory? I'll leave it for you to decide. Science only explains how things happen but never why they happen.
