The Bernalillo County Clerk's Office is working with UNM to hold early voting in the SUB.
Polling stations will be open on the third floor of the SUB beginning Saturday.
Walt Miller, vice president of Student Life, said UNM is bringing early voting back to campus after its success in the February presidential primary.
Miller said the SUB is going to do all it can to make voting as convenient as possible for students.
"We are going to make sure the room can be secured, that it is easily identifiable so people don't get lost and that it is really close to an elevator to accommodate students with disabilities," Miller said. "I think that having people vote is the important thing, and I think that we are in a better situation than we were last election."
Sophomore Alex Sanchez said the SUB can get crowded and that getting voters in and out could be a hassle.

Miller said there's no reason space should be a problem at the SUB.
"Because of the hours in the day that the polls will be open and the nature of the event, I am not concerned," he said. "I think that we will do well since we have experience from doing it in the primaries."
Junior Julia Lewis said the polling location on campus will help many students.
"I think it is good to have as many options as possible," she said. "I know a lot of students who haven't changed their address since they last registered to vote, and they are worried about the time to go home and vote."
Lewis said the option to vote early on campus will help a lot of students feel more at ease about the election.
"The location in the SUB really comes in handy for the students who might live in Taos or something and might not have any free time to travel," she said. "It might also help students who wouldn't have figured out how to absentee vote."
