Editor,
After reading Wednesday's Daily Lobo article about the school's thoughts on canceling the bus pass sticker, I am angry and quite confused.
I am a UNM student who uses the bus as well as the city's SunVan service, which is a service for the disabled and elderly. If UNM were to take away our bus pass stickers, it would have a huge effect on me. I am confused as to why the University is thinking such a stupid thing. Do they not understand that many of us use the sticker system because we do use the bus on a daily basis and that these stickers save us a lot of money that most of us don't even have in the first place?
I think this is a selfish decision, and if this does go into effect, then I will more than gladly stand outside the University and protest for my rights. We cannot afford to lose this service.
