"Typically, I shop in bags of hand-me-downs."
In the spirit of spring and originality, Hampton dons a sleek black dress. While most of her clothes are gifted, she gives her outfits life by combining them with flashy buys such as her shiny gold shoes. Hampton gets her sense of fashion from "America's Next Top Model," which she declared is the best show ever.

"I was kind of bored. I was just thinking bright, you know, 1980s, lots of bright pink and electric blue. That's what it's all about."
Styling in neon colors, Jacklin brings a smattering of San Francisco fashion to Albuquerque. The Bay Area's surge in techno music influences clothing through bright colors and expressiveness, which Jacklin follows loosely.

"I'm not one to jump on the bandwagon. But if it's something cool, and I think it's cool, then I'll rock it."
With multicolored bandanas on his wrist, bright yellow earrings and a black shirt from his friend's clothing company, West embodies the style of a rock star. West, member of local band the Charlotte Ruse, favors color coordination such as his lime-green hat, bandana and pack. An interesting side note: West said he leaves his fly down because he stays well-hydrated.

Shorts: Bullhead, $30
Sandals: Mervyns, $15
Jewelry: Gift
"I like to dress classy but cheap. But kind of cute. But not too slutty. But, you know, cute."
Creamer said she's excited for spring and rocking the short shorts. She tends to follow the bigger names in fashion such as BCBG and Guess, but also sports clothing, such as her frayed hat, from untraceable sources. With clothes and jewelry borrowed from her sister, Creamer shows that fashion may indeed be in the genes.
