Editor,
I was disgusted with professors Sharon Warner and Feroza Jussawalla for using the microphone at Wednesday's faculty meeting to further infect the public mind with their freedom-hating views.
This tyrannous pair brought up last year's completely unrelated Creative Writing fiasco, once again demonstrating their contempt for the rule of law and individual rights. Jussawalla is chairwoman of the Faculty Senate Ethics Committee. This is an inappropriate position for someone with little regard for the law and no regard for the ideals of liberty that our nation is founded upon.
To both supporters and opponents of freedom and privacy, I pose this question: In retrospect, who was more damaging to the credibility of the Creative Writing program - the coward who sent an anonymous letter to the department chair, or the bigots who ran to the press with it?
