Daily Lobo: Where are you from?
John Humpton: I am actually living here and have been here for eight years.
DL: Where did you live before that?
JH: Wichita, Kan.
DL: What made you move here?
JH: I actually moved out here for gymnastics, because the gym I was at was closing, and I was told to come out here for a coach.

DL: So you're big into gymnastics?
JH: I was for a while. I actually quit about two years ago now..
DL: Why aren't you doing it anymore?
JH: I actually stopped because I decided I wasn't going to do it in college.
DL: What are you majoring in now?
JH: Psychology. I really prefer personality, and I want to go into counseling or therapy.
DL: Did you draw that on your pants?
JH: Yeah. It's a bunch of references to Bible verses.
DL: What faith are you?
JH: Christianity.
DL: What significance do these Bible verses have?
JH: Oh, gosh. There are about 10 or 15 of them there. Most of them are actually about wisdom, which is something I'm really about, trying to learn what Godly wisdom is and live like that. Really it's not something that can be comprehended by us. The Bible says that even the greatest wisdom of man is foolishness to God, but I guess there's like a level of things that God has revealed to people through the Bible and such. It's really fascinating to me, I guess.
DL: Why'd you draw them on your pants?
JH: I was kind of bored and these pants were getting old, so I thought I'd do something a little more creative to them.
DL: Do you do anything else to your pants?
JH: Um, I wear them (laughs) and - usually I'll just write stuff along the seams and stuff.
DL: How big a part of your life is your religion?
JH: The biggest. I would change or drop anything in my life in a minute for it.
