Rep. Martin Heinrich has created a Web site to provide updates and information about the swine flu, available at Heinrich.house.gov.

Tips from the site:

? Wash hands often with soap and water. Alcohol-based sanitizers are also effective.

? Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth.

? Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue when you cough or sneeze.

? Influenza is thought to spread from person-to-person mainly through coughing or sneezing.

? If you get sick, stay home from work or school and limit contact with others to keep from infecting them.

? If you become ill within seven days of having traveled to Mexico, or any place where confirmed cases have occurred, consult a doctor to determine if you need testing or treatment.
