Editor,
I was pleased when I learned that President Obama had been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize, because it seems to me that all of his thoughts, words and actions are
motivated by a desire to reduce the conflicts and divisions that currently exist in the world and move us closer to peace and unity.
From my perspective of reality, the world would be a lot better place if those who oppose him would be willing to examine their motivations for doing so and determine if the thoughts, words and actions that are manifested by those motivations are a desire to bring more peace and unity into the world, which will be of benefit for all, or a desire to bring more discord and disunity into the world, from which they will personally benefit.
