As a non-native New Mexican coming from Ohio, I am offended by the spiciness of your “chili.” How is anyone expected to put something that spicy in their mouth and enjoy it? I want to invite anyone and everyone whether native or not to join me in this fight for bland flavor. I know that many people too afraid to anger the Hatch chili mafia have been scalding their mouths for years. This senseless violence against the mouth must stop.
Think of the children!
