LaPo employee fired for acts similar to coach Locksley's

Editor,

After reading about the incident at La Posada Dining Hall in the Daily Lobo, I couldn’t help but think of the similarities between this story, and the Mike Locksley incident last year.
Harassing a co-worker, assault, battery, bullying, a hostile work environment and the police are called in. Sound familiar? And this folks is where the similarities end.

Communication Workers of America representative Scott Askey is quoted as saying, in regards to the Anthony Rosa incident at LaPo, “There were several witnesses that substantiated the battery. Any other employee would have been terminated.”

Well, any other employee except for Mike Locksley that is. You see, Anthony Rosa is no longer employed with UNM, and rightly so. Mike Locksley is still employed with UNM, “earning” his six-figure salary. I certainly hope our dedicated Lobo fans see more action on the field this season, then at the coach’s meeting.
