Editor:
The proposed mosque in New York City has unmasked that good, old-fashioned American racism. Nooses, burning crosses and apple pies aside, I would say that perhaps the protesters in New York City have a good point.
On the same street of the proposed mosque, one can find an off-track betting shop or a nightclub populated by semi-naked women. God forbid that the gambler or the fornicator would have to share the same street as the man who prays five times a day or the women who covers her figure! Make no mistake about it; there is a battle taking place in New York City between good and evil. Which side are you on?
