Why blame the faculty and administration for a problem that students clearly create for themselves? I’ve heard some students argue that grades mean so much to them that they cheat or plagiarize.
If you respect the academic process, then simply don’t cheat or engage in other forms of academic dishonesty. If grades mean so much to students, then it’s up to students to be honest, not to blame faculty or the judicial officer for the problem.
