It must be comforting to American citizens to know that so many of today’s politicians follow in the Founding Fathers’ footsteps by supporting low or no taxes for the wealthy and corporations and high taxes for the middle class and poor.
They also support a high “defense budget” with troops in as many countries as possible and elimination of as many government-supported activities as possible — things like road maintenance, teachers, police, social security payments and health care for the middle class and poor.
How do I know that this is true? Because these politicians are hell-bent on destroying the Founding Fathers’ America and replacing it with a plutocracy or corporatocracy in which the majority are economic slaves to be used as needed.
I’ll end with what I see as the reality of America’s current situation in America: The media distracts the people, and they can’t see that they will lose constitutional rights and become virtual slaves of the few wealthy individuals who have usurped the power.
