Just a few decades ago, the media in this country seemed to be trying to keep us informed of all sides on all the issues, so that we could make our own informed decisions. Today, the media in this country seem to be trying to keep us only informed of what the top 1 percent want us to think is accurate, so that we will make the decisions they want us to.
