Editor,
Mitt Romney’s wife, Ann, recently claimed that it was appropriate and good for her to not enter the workforce because she devoted her time and energy to raising her children. And, more recently, Mitt Romney, in a speech, said “Poor women who stay at home to raise their children should be given federal assistance for child care so that they can enter the job market and have the dignity of work.”
Am I the only one who finds those two statements confusing, and possibly contradictory?
