I’ve often wondered about the ideals of the Founding Fathers that the Tea Party seems to use as the focal point of their beliefs. I wonder if the Tea Baggers find it odd that by those Founding Fathers’ own beliefs — that a person had to be a white, landowning male to vote — a large percentage of them would be unqualified to vote. I guess history repeats itself in that many Tea Party members remain unqualified to vote, but through their own ignorance, not by the law of the land.
