Editor,
I am a Democrat. I stand for government help for the poor and disadvantaged. I do not get weekends off like some people do — I have to work seven days a week to offset the Bush years. If Republicans want to give to charities, they can give some money to me. I am barely surviving from Republican policies.
Republicans do not support the rights of the unborn, they support controlling others. Republicans are against Obamacare because they do not support the poor having health care. They are also against basic higher education for the poor and middle class. Their kids will have money for school and health care. Republicans want states to run things. Look at how a Republican governor has hurt this state.
I have watched many Republican administrations come and go in Washington. They always cut benefits to the middle class and poor.
