Rush Limbaugh is consistent — he persists in voicing one distortion of the truth after another and one unsupported attack after another designed to discredit any policy proposed by the Democratic Party for the sole purpose of adding to his popularity and fortune. It does not surprise me, nor distress me, that he persists in that behavior.
What does surprise and distress me is that so many of the people in the United States today appear to be unable to evaluate all sides of the issues and arrive at logical and rational conclusions, and instead believe that Rush Limbaugh is informing them of what is accurate and what is not. That is frightening to me and, in my opinion, has the likelihood of resulting in the destruction of this country.
